Assassin's Creed cosplay

this is my cosplay of Altair from Assassin's Creed I made for Ohayocon '06. I wish I could have made it better, but I had a whole 10 days to design and make it.
3/4 of the stuff is from walmart. The leather is fake (except the boots), and the all the metal (except the sword) is cardboard covered in aluminum foil tape. the sword is a yardsick (I'll have a better pic of it), also covered in foil tape. The infamous spring powered dagger is instead centrifugal (no metal or spring weapons allowed at most cons), and is made of cardboard and a popsicle stick all covered in foil tape.
About 70% of people thought I was a white mage (he is supposed to look like a priest to blend in... but when you're dressed in so much white and you're able to walk right past your friends in a room full of goths, yeah, I'd have to say social stealth works). The rest thought I was the cobra ninja guy from GI Joe.
Most of it is held together by duct tape and hot glue, the sewing machine died pretty quick. I plan on making a ridiculously detailed one for this year, with real leather and metal (not weapons).
